To become the CSR voice of Lesotho and create a multi-stakeholder networking and engagement platform to champion a just and sustainable Lesotho.
The essence of providing a networking and advocacy platform for corporates in Lesotho is to enable our members to enter into dialogue with other businesses, create synergies, form shared positions on various CSR issues and launch collective initiatives to avoid duplicity of efforts.
CSRNL will promote peer-to-peer learning, communication, advocacy and dialogue on CSR-related issues with government, local authorities, labour organisations, CSOs and academia.
Offer our members tangible added value through trainings, workshops, seminars and access to national, regional and international experts in CSR.
We specialize in designing and implementing sector-focused training programs and practical learning events tailored to your needs. These programs are usually delivered at desired project sites and training venues.
We offer consultancy services and conduct research studies (Perception Surveys, Impact Studies and Trends) for organisations, from formulation to data collection and reporting.
Assessment and reporting on the social impact of private and public sector projects on various stakeholders.
Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CSR and sustainability projects.
Our Value proposition:
Corporate Social Responsibility Network Lesotho (CSRNL) has instituted National CSR Awards to recognize organisations that have made a positive impact on the Lesothon society through their innovative and sustainable CSR projects and interventions.
The Lesotho CSR Awards is the country’s Most Prestigious Recognition Awards programme for Corporate Social Responsibility. The programme recognizes and honors companies for outstanding, innovative and sustainable CSR projects and programmes implemented. The projects must demonstrate the company’s leadership, sincerity and on-going commitment in incorporating ethical values, compliance with legal requirements, and respect for individuals, communities and the environment in the way they do business.
The National CSR Awards seek to:
Participation/Nomination
Every year, CSRNL will reach out to organisations, inviting them to enter the Awards by making submissions about their CSR projects. The 1st Awards event took stock of all companies implementing CSR, and gave awards to those that responded to the call. Starting with the 2nd Awards event and going forward, focus will be on what each organisation has done in that particular year and the category entered.
Companies can enter as many projects as they wish in one or more of the categories to be listed. The winning company, regardless of size, is simply one of which in the opinion of the judges, best meets the criteria for each category.
