ESG Network Zimbabwes’ recent ESG Strategy Retreat was a huge success! Held on the 26th of February to the 1st of March at Forest Hills Resort, Vumba Mutare, the retreat brought together key stakeholders from 16 different organizations to shape the future of ESG in Zimbabwe.
The Workshop Retreat was designed to help organizations kick-start their 2025 ESG agenda, providing a unique opportunity to connect with peers, share knowledge, and gain insights from ESG thought leaders.
Under the theme Achieving ESG Excellence in 2025: Setting the Agenda for Success, the two-day program featured an impressive roster of keynote speakers and discussions tackling the pressing issues around Environment, Social and Governance. All delegates heard from an impressive lineup of keynote speakers including Dr. Prosper Mutswiri from Powertel Communications, Andrew Matiza from ESG Network Zimbabwe, Sanguita Popatlal from the Office of the President & Cabinet, Norah Mukura from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), Terence Machawira from Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ), Simbarashe Mafukidze from National Building Society & Rambwayi Mapako from Environmental Management Agency (EMA).
The success of the ESG Retreat Workshop is also a testament to the power of public and private collaboration. ESG Network Zimbabwe would like to extent our gratitude to all speakers, moderators and all participants who made this conference a resounding success.
